Whatever your website needs, ShoeString Sites can help you
achieve it. For a flat fee of $500, you will receive:
Your domain name: www.mysite.com - you tell me what
you want your website to be called, I will purchase the domain
name.
Five Pages: A 5-page website personalized with your
content, which you will provide to me.
Personalized Service: A one-on-one
meeting when possible (Buffalo, NY area) to discuss your website
needs. I will determine what type of look you are going for
with your website and present you with the options available. If
not in person, we will communicate over the phone, through
emails or through Instant Message.
Separate Costs:
Web hosting: You will pay for hosting
which starts at only $3.99/month. It includes 5 GB of storage
(that's a lot) and up to 100 email forwards. This allows
everyone in your organization to have a website address with
your company name (ex. joesmith@mysite.com). All emails sent to
the forwarding addresses will then be delivered in your regular
inbox (joesmith@yahoo.com).
A la carte items include:
e-commerce capabilities: If you would
like to sell a product(s) on your web site, I can set up a
catalog for you with shopping cart, photos of your items if
applicable, and checkout capabilities. There will be an added
cost for this service based on my hourly rate of $50 with a
minimum charge for 30 minutes.
Additional Pages: There will be a
charge for additional pages over 5. Past that, pages with
content will be an extra $10 each. There is no limit to how many
pages you can have on your website.
E-newsletters:
Keep your customers informed. A newsletter sign-up form can be
included in your website. As a product promoting tool, the
newsletter content includes any information you would like. May
be created by you and forwarded to me to distribute to your
customer database. This is a huge cost and time savings for your
company, and these newsletters are easily shared by your
customers with prospective customers when they enjoy the
newsletter and forward it via email to their friends and
family. It's as simple as a click of their mouse, and it brings
more customers to you!
I will also create the e-newsletter for you,
and will add your content that you can either email to me or
dictate over the phone while I type (talk about full service!).
Monthly administrative contracts: I
will perform administrative duties for your company as they
relate to your website and customer databases. This, in part,
consists of organizing the names and/or email addresses of your
customers who either inquire about your products or sign up for
a newsletter if you have a sign up form for one on your site;
making frequent [weekly/bi-weekly] changes to your website to
keep it current; other miscellaneous website related duties.
Administrative fees vary, but can run anywhere from $40-$75 per
month, with a minimum commitment of 3 months. If you require no
changes to your site in the future, i.e. you plan to make all
future edits to your site yourself, you will have paid the
one-time $500 fee for the website, your website hosting, and
that's it.
